This Privacy Policy details how we collect, process, store, and safeguard your data when you visit our website, register an account, undergo identity or business verification, upload confidential documents into data rooms, or participate in deal rooms.
2Information We Collect
We collect information across three primary categories:
When you register or update your account, we collect your display name, username, email address, phone number (if provided for 2FA/verification), account type (individual or company), company legal name, jurisdiction of incorporation, and company registration number.
To satisfy our tiered trust model (Tiers 0 – 4), users submit government-issued photo identification (passports, national IDs), utility bills or bank statements for proof of address, and official corporate registration certificates. For listings and data rooms, sellers upload revenue proof, profit & loss statements, Google Analytics or traffic exports, and code audit reports.
We log communication within listing inquiry threads, private Deal Room discussions, milestone deliverable notes, payment confirmation notices, and dispute resolution submissions.
3Security Infrastructure & Supabase Storage
MK Selling Hub utilizes enterprise-grade infrastructure powered by Supabase:
- Authentication & Database: User authentication is managed via Supabase Auth. All records reside in an encrypted PostgreSQL database protected by strict Row-Level Security (RLS) policies.
- Access Isolation: Database RLS policies guarantee that users can only read their own private data, their active negotiations, and public listings. Unauthorized cross-tenant access is prohibited at the database engine level.
4Strict Privacy of Verification Documents
All identification documents, passport scans, and corporate articles submitted for Verification Tiers (1 through 4) are stored in private, restricted storage containers. These files are never made public, are never shown to buyers or sellers, and are never indexed by search engines. They are reviewed solely by authorized MK Selling Hub compliance administrators for the explicit purpose of KYC / KYB compliance and fraud prevention.
5Deal Room Retention & Audit Trail (Spec §26)
Because MK Selling Hub coordinates high-stakes commercial transfers, all deal transitions, payment confirmation claims, milestone submissions, deliverable approvals, and in-room conversations are recorded in an immutable chronological audit trail.
These records are maintained to:
- Enable impartial administrative mediation in the event of a dispute or cancellation request;
- Satisfy financial auditing and regulatory compliance standards for commercial transactions;
- Prevent fraud and preserve evidence in the event of unauthorized chargebacks or contract repudiation.
6No Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal information to advertisers, brokers, or third-party marketing firms. Information is shared only with service infrastructure providers (such as database hosting and transactional email systems) strictly to the extent necessary to deliver the platform service.
