Payment Terms & Refund Guidelines

Refund & Dispute Policy

Last Updated: September 4, 2026

1Nature of Goods & Services

MK Selling Hub facilitates acquisitions of digital business assets, including software applications (SaaS), e-commerce stores, content websites, domain portfolios, social media properties, and associated intellectual property.

Due to the irrevocable nature of digital asset transfers (such as domain push transfers, source code repository transfers, and credential handovers), transactions are protected by admin-mediated escrow rather than instantaneous, unmoderated refunds.

2Current Settlement Workflow (Manual Admin Verification)

Honest Operational Disclosure

All transactions currently operate under an admin-mediated escrow model. When a deal is funded, the buyer sends payment via direct bank wire or designated transfer instructions. A platform administrator manually confirms receipt before the deal enters the active delivery stage. There is no automated, algorithmic charge reversal.

3Milestone Approvals & Finality

Transactions on MK Selling Hub utilize single or multi-stage milestone release plans:

  • Inspection Period: Once a seller submits deliverables (e.g. domain authorization code, repository invitation, database dump), the buyer has the opportunity to review, inspect, and verify the assets before taking action.
  • Milestone Approval Irrevocability: When the buyer explicitly clicks "Approve Milestone", that specific milestone's funds are authorized for disbursement to the seller. Approved milestones are non-refundable because full control of the deliverable has been acknowledged and accepted by the buyer.
  • Unreleased Escrow: Any unreleased milestone balances remain safely held in escrow until the corresponding deliverables are completed or resolved by admin mediation.

4Cancellations & Dispute Process (Spec §26)

To prevent transaction abandonment and unauthorized asset retention:

  • Buyer Exit via Dispute: Once escrow payment is confirmed by an administrator, the buyer cannot unilaterally cancel the deal with a single click. The buyer must invoke Raise Dispute if the seller fails to deliver or delivers non-conforming assets.
  • Seller Cancellation: If a seller cancels before any deliverables are submitted or approved, 100% of the unreleased escrow funds are returned to the buyer upon administrator verification. If deliverables were already submitted, cancellation requires mutual consent or admin dispute review.
  • Dispute Investigation: Platform administrators examine chronological event records, deliverable links, communication transcripts, and technical ownership logs.

5Refund Determination Outcomes

Dispute outcomes are decided on a case-by-case basis by platform administrators and will result in one of the following determinations:

1. Full Buyer Refund

Awarded if the seller fails to deliver, provides non-functional assets, or misrepresents foundational business metrics.

2. Seller Disbursement

Awarded if the seller provides verifiable proof of transfer and the buyer raises unjustified or malicious objections.

3. Partial / Split Payout

Awarded where certain milestones were legitimately transferred and approved, with the unfulfilled balance returned to buyer.

6Third-Party Bank & Network Fees

Please note that bank wire fees, intermediary correspondent banking charges, or payment network handling fees incurred during the deposit or return of funds are deducted at cost and are non-refundable.
